I dabbled here and there in Ceramics and loved the three dimensional nature of the craft. I also loved that you can make something useful! Here are some of the cups, bowls, and other kitchenware that Ive made!
My favorite part and least favorite about ceramics is the unpredictable nature of glazing. You can never predict exactly how it's going to turn out... and that is both extremely frustrating but also exhilerating. Ceramics has taught me much about life. In this case, you can prepare and do everything correctly, but at some point, you just have to let it go and hope for the best!
